
Dr. Jamie completed her undergraduate degree in biology at the University of Alaska Southeast in Juneau, AK.
She then pursued a masters degree in biomedical science's with a concentration in domestic animal anatomy and physiology, followed by her veterinary degree at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO.
Dr. Jamie is thrilled to join the wonderful team at Hurst Animal Clinic. Her areas of interest include preventive medicine, dentistry, and surgery. She is eager to establish long-term connections with her patients and their pets.
Dr. Jamie was raised in rural Alaska and enjoys various outdoor activities such as hiking, biking or simply admiring a great view. In her free time, she and her husband like to explore local restaurants and coffee shops. Her husband is a airline pilot, and together they have three pets: a large Munsterlander named Neka, an Husky/German Shepard mix named Ronan, and a flame point cat name Loki.
