Meet The Staff:

Jerry Pultz
Office Manager
Jerry has been with Hurst Animal Clinic since 1982. Even after all of this time, he feels challenged each day and continually looks for ways to improve in his field. Jerry enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He has three Labrador Retrievers, two cats and a bearded dragon. His hobbies include hot rods, motorcycles and art.

Debbie Simmons
Receptionist
Debbie has been with Hurst Animal Clinic since 1995. She enjoys meeting all of the clients and patients, developing a relationship with them and making a difference in their lives. Debbie has lived in the HEB area all of her life. She loves to be around animals! When she says good-bye to them at the end of the day, she is greeted by three dogs and two cats at home, as well as her husband and grand-daughter.

Kasi Tankersley
Veterinary Technician
Kasi has been with Hurst Animal Clinic since 2009. She has an associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology from Northwestern State University in Nachitoches, LA and has worked in veterinary clinics for over 4 years. Kasi loves to be able to educate clients about pet health and feels rewarded when the light comes back to an animals’ eyes when they start feeling better. Kasi has a sweet pit bull named Samantha and a beautiful husky named Kira. She also has two horses. She enjoys riding horses, four-wheelers, music, and going to plays and movies.

Chassity Rochell
Veterinary Assistant
Chassity has been with Hurst Animal Clinic since 2002. She enjoys working with the clients and patients and improving the lives of all of the animals. Chassity has a daughter, two cats and two dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys going on trips and participating/watching events with her family.

Brittany Burleson
Veterinary Assistant
Brittany has been with Hurst Animal Clinic since 2005. She received her degree in science, and plans to continue studies in animal science. She considers her work her life and passion. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their dogs, Fonzi and Ginger and cats, Carus and Homie G. She also enjoys the outdoors and being active.

Samantha Goodwin
Veterinary Assistant
Samantha has worked at Hurst Animal Clinic since September 2009. She is a recent high school graduate and learns something new each day from the team. She enjoys making the animals comfortable while they are at the clinic and helping Dr. Daryl to make their lives better. She has a house full of animals at home, three dogs, two cats, two horses and an albino corn snake. She likes to play sports, ride her horse and spend time with family and friends.

Billy Pratt
Veterinary Assistant
Billy has been with Hurst Animal Clinic since August 2009. He is a recent high school graduate and is currently taking college courses. Billy enjoys working at the clinic and in his free time he likes to hang out with friends and go fishing. He has two Pomeranians and a Beagle at home.

Lisa Miller
Groomer
Lisa has been with Hurst Animal Clinic since 2009. She feels that grooming is a labor of love and treats each animal she cares for as one of her own. Lisa has 19 years of dog and cat grooming, obedience and behavioral training. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, their rescued cat Stormy and attending grooming seminars.
